1. Cover private details. Hide your SSN, member ID, account numbers, name, birth date and address. Pasting? Delete the numbers first. Photo? Cover them with paper.
2. Paste the prompt. Add your text or photo after it. Then send.
3. Ask it to quote the exact line for each fact.
4. Check every date, amount and action against the original. If it says within X days, count the date from the letter date yourself.
5. Call only a number you look up yourself. Use your card, a past statement or the official website. Never one from a strange message. AI won't tell you who to call.
