The notice is the boss. AI shows what changed. You pick the plan.
New to this? Try the practice first.
Step 1: Find your notice
- Your plan mails it each fall, often in September.
- It lists changes to costs and coverage that start January 1.
- No notice? Call your plan at the number on your member card.
Step 2: Cover your details, then add your notice
- Cover your name, Medicare number, member ID and address.
- Photo? Cover them with a sticky note or paper first.
- Paste the prompt below. Add a photo with + or Add files, or type the key lines. Send.
Compare this year and next year in my Medicare plan notice below. Quote the exact lines, for both years, for the premium, deductible, copays and drug coverage. Flag anything that changed, even one word. If something is not in the notice, say "NOT IN NOTICE." Do not recommend a plan. Do not give me phone numbers or links.
Step 3: Check each quote on the paper
- Find each quoted line on your notice yourself.
- Check premium, deductible, copays and drug tiers, digit by digit.
Step 4: Look for your own drugs and doctors
- Find each drug you take by name.
- AI won't pick a plan for you. That choice is yours.
Step 5: Ask a real person before December 7
- Open Enrollment runs October 15 to December 7.
- Call 1-800-MEDICARE or your State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP).
- Use a number you look up yourself, like on Medicare.gov.

How did you do? A good AI answer:
- Quotes both premium lines and flags $0 to $29.00.
- Flags Practiceol moving from Tier 1 ($0) to Tier 3 ($47 copay).
- Flags the new words "referral required" on specialist visits.
- Says the deductible, primary care, ER and Samplestatin did not change.
- Does not tell you to keep or switch plans. Gives no phone number or link.
